Salary: $55,000 - $60,000 annual pay plus commissions.

General Description

The Territory Manager will prospect new business while providing excellent customer service. In this role, you will be reaching out to potential customers by cold calling. We have a sales tool to manage a robust sales pipeline, replacing traditional pad-and-paper processes. You’ll learn a solid understanding of our service offerings and will present them to prospects. Utilizing a consultative selling approach, the Territory Manager will match new and existing prospects’ needs to Waste Connections services and aim to secure long-term partnerships.

Responsibilities
  • Source new business opportunities within Abbotsford, BC and surrounding area
  • Enter gathered intelligence into our ARES system for future follow up
  • Work with operations and administrative staff in a team environment and be capable of working independently
  • Identify and reach out to potential customers through cold calling, networking, and other means to generate sales leads
  • Address customer concerns and inquiries promptly, providing solutions and ensuring a positive customer experience
  • Travel to client locations, industry conferences, and other events as necessary to meet with clients and prospects
What We Need From You
  • 3-4 years of solid business to business (B2B) sales experience
  • Experience with contract selling is an asset
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Knowledge of ARES, Salesforce, or comparable CRM tool is a plus
  • Must have own vehicle for existing customers and new prospects
