Role DescriptionThis is a full‑time, on‑site Sales Representative role based in Abbotsford, BC.
The Sales Representative will identify and pursue new business opportunities, conduct outbound calls and in‑person visits to local companies, and present Express Employment Professionals’ staffing solutions to decision‑makers. The role includes building and maintaining robust relationships with clients, understanding their workforce needs, and collaborating with internal recruiting teams to ensure high‑quality service delivery.
The Sales Representative will prepare proposals, negotiate service agreements, track sales activities in a CRM system, and meet or exceed defined sales and revenue targets. The position also involves attending networking events, maintaining up‑to‑date knowledge of local labor market trends, and representing the company professionally in the community.
Qualifications- Demonstrated experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development, preferably in staffing, HR services, or a related service industry.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with business owners, HR leaders, and hiring managers.
- Proven ability to prospect, qualify leads, and manage a sales pipeline, including conducting cold calls and in‑person visits to local businesses.
- Solid organizational and time management skills, with the capacity to prioritize multiple client accounts, follow up consistently, and meet sales targets.
- Comfort with using CRM systems, email, and standard office software to document activities, prepare proposals, and report on results.
- Customer‑focused mindset and problem‑solving skills to understand client needs and recommend appropriate staffing solutions.
- Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and able to work both independently and collaboratively within a small, fast‑paced team.
- Knowledge of the local Fraser Valley business community and willingness to participate in networking and community events.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for client visits within the service area.
- High school diploma required; post‑secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field is an asset.
