- Position: Underground Mechanics
-Multiple Projects (Various Sites across Timmins Camp) - Rotation: 7/7 & 14/14
- Shift: 10 - 12 Hour shifts, depending on the site schedule
- Wage: $66.44 - $77.00/HR
- Potential Renumeration: KPI Bonus – Referral Bonus
- Travel/Accommodations/Meals: Per Site Specific Allowance

As a Mobile Maintenance Mechanic at Dumas, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing the fleet of heavy mining equipment that keeps our operations running safely and efficiently. You will work underground in a fast‑paced setting, ensuring equipment reliability and minimizing downtime to support production goals while working safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair underground mining equipment, including jumbos, Mac Lean bolters, scoops, utility vehicles, and drills.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and parts used.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and perform root cause analysis for failures.
- Ensure compliance with Dumas and site‑specific safety protocols and environmental regulations.
- Participate in workplace inspections and hazard assessments.
- Valid Red Seal/Journeyman License in a Mechanic trade along with 3+ years heavy‑duty mechanic experience.
- Valid Ontario Underground Hard Rock Miner Common Core certification.
- Strong knowledge of drilling and blasting techniques.
- Ability to work in physically demanding and confined environments.
- Excellent safety record and commitment to safe work practices.
