Nason Contracting Group Ltd. is currently seeking a highly skilled Local Welder by Hand at our Abbotsford project.
- Schedule Rotation: 10/4 rotation
- Benefits and RRSP Provided As Per Collective Agreement
- Rate: $47.98
- Ensure welds meet quality standards and pass required inspections
- Perform welding tasks according to blueprints, schematics, and specifications
- Operate power tools and equipment
Work collaboratively with Pipe fitters, apprentices, and shop crew to maintain efficient shop flow.
- Mentor and guide apprentices as needed.
Maintain safe work practices and uphold shop standards of quality, safety and efficiency.
What We are Looking For- CSTS 2020
- WHMIS 2015
- Valid Driver's License (not GDL)
- A valid Journeyperson Welder Certification (Red Seal/recognized trade ticket required)
- Exceptional blueprint and isometric reading skills with the ability to identify errors.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed production welding targets.
- Commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork.
- Extensive knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work
- The ability to lift, carry and handle weight up to 50lbs
- Must be organized, self-driven, and have ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions
