As a highly skilled Local Welder, you will adhere to quality standards and safety practices while performing essential welding tasks. The job offers opportunities to mentor apprentices and work alongside Pipe fitters in a dynamic team environment. Your expertise in blueprints and isometric reading will be crucial in executing projects efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure welds meet strict quality standards

• Execute welding tasks per blueprints and schematics

• Operate power tools and equipment safely

• Collaborate with Pipe fitters and shop team members

• Mentor apprentices to build their skills

Requirements:

• Valid Journeyperson Welder Certification (Red Seal)

• Exceptional blueprint and isometric reading skills

• Ability to meet production welding targets

• CSTS 2020 and WHMIS 2015 certifications

• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
