Nason Contracting Group Ltd. is actively seeking a Local Welder skilled in hand welding for their Abbotsford project. Candidates should have a valid Journeyperson Welder Certification and exceptional blueprint reading capabilities. This position requires performing welding tasks, operating power tools, and maintaining safety practices, alongside supporting apprentices in their training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality welds that pass inspections

• Follow blueprints and specifications accurately for all tasks

• Operate necessary equipment and power tools

• Coordinate with Pipe fitters and shop teams

• Guide and mentor apprentices, impacting their growth

Requirements:

• Journeyperson Welder Certification (Red Seal mandatory)

• Completion of CSTS 2020 and WHMIS 2015

• Valid non-GDL Driver's License

• Expertise in reading blueprints and identifying errors

• Physically able to lift 50lbs frequently
