In this role, you will perform welding tasks according to specifications and ensure compliance with quality standards. Collaborating with Pipe fitters and apprentices is essential for maintaining shop flow and imparting your expertise. The job also emphasizes safety and efficiency in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform welding tasks based on provided blueprints

• Ensure welds meet quality and inspection requirements

• Safely operate necessary tools and equipment

• Work with pipe fitters and mentoring apprentices

• Uphold safety and quality standards in the shop

Requirements:

• Valid Journeyperson Welder Certification (Red Seal)

• Strong blueprint and isometric reading capabilities

• Proven ability to meet production targets

• Current CSTS 2020 and WHMIS 2015 certifications

• Must lift and carry weights up to 50 lbs
