Welding Specialist

Position: Welding Specialist Needed
Become a Welding Specialist in Abbotsford, BC, specializing in high-quality metal fabrication and repairs. This full-time role focuses on both manual and automated welding processes.

The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of welding experience and hold a secondary high school graduation certificate. You will work directly on-site, using various welding machines and techniques, including plasma arc welding. The role is physically demanding and starts soon.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor robotic welding production lines

• Read and interpret welding blueprints and technical manuals

• Check and examine completed welds for accuracy

• Use shears and other metal shaping tools effectively

• Maintain welding tools and equipment regularly

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of solid welding experience

• Secondary education preferred

• Ability to work in physically demanding conditions

• Must lift materials weighing up to 50 lbs

• Own steel-toed safety boots required
