  Various locations in Abbotsford, BC, other Lower Mainland (BC) areas, and Fraser Valley as per the company’s contracts with its clients.

• Measure, cut and fit drywall sheets for installation on walls and ceilings.
• Position and secure sheets to wooden or metal studs.
• Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners.
• Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound.
• Tape the joints using a taping machine and embed tape in the compound.
• Smooth out the excess compound and allow the coat to dry.
• Install suspended metal ceiling grids and place panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings.
• Follow all occupational health and safety procedures on the work site.

• Completion of secondary school required.
• Completion of an apprenticeship program in the trade or a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar trade is required.
• Effective communication skills.
