Drywall Installer and Finisher

JD EDIFICE DRYWALL Ltd. is working on both residential and commercial construction projects. We are looking to hire 2 permanent full time Drywall Installer and Finishers for various locations in the lower mainland and surrounding areas as soon as possible.

• Measure and cut drywall sheets to the required size, then position and install them.
• Apply joint tape over seams using a taping machine and embed it in joint compound.
• Spread successive layers of joint compound over seams and joints for a smooth finish.
• Fill nail holes, cracks, and surface imperfections using joint compound with a trowel and broad knife.
• Remove excess compound, allow each layer to dry, and sand the surface to achieve a smooth finish.
• Erect, install and work on scaffolding, falsework, swing stages and other working platforms.

• The positions require experience of 1 to 2 years in the related trade.
• Minimum high school education and basic proficiency in English is required.
• Ideal candidates should be flexible, a team player, and reliable.
• The position is physically demanding due to a large workload and requires bending, crouching, kneeling, handling heavy loads, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
• The candidate may be required to work at heights, in hot, noisy, and dusty places.
• The candidate should have own steel‑toed safety boots and a hard hat.

The candidates are expected to be available for work for morning, daytime, and weekend shifts. These are full‑time (30–40 hours per week) and permanent positions with a salary of $36.60 per hour.
