Expert Carpenter

Position: Expert Carpenter Role
Become part of the Structure Craft team in Abbotsford as a Carpenter, specializing in modern timber fabrication. This full-time position emphasizes quality workmanship and innovation in carpentry.

The ideal candidate will have significant carpentry experience, ideally with wood processing, and a keen eye for detail. You will read guiding blueprints, frame projects, and utilize various tools to achieve excellence in all stages of production, including site rigging and loading.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret blueprints and shop drawings for projects

• Construct templates and jigs for precise builds

• Frame within set tolerances in rough and finish carpentry

• Manage rigging and loading processes for installations

• Conduct quality assurance throughout all tasks

Requirements:

• Preferred 5 years of carpentry experience

• Certifications in First Aid Level One, Fall Protection, and WHMIS

• Possible selective travel for project needs

• Self-motivated, reliable, and disciplined work ethic

• Effective English communication skills
