Transdev Canada is hiring a Casual Fleet Mechanic in Abbotsford, BC. This role is perfect for Red Seal certified mechanics eager to ensure our fleet's reliability and safety.

As a key team member, you will conduct maintenance inspections, troubleshoot various vehicle systems, and perform repairs to keep our fleet operational. Offering competitive pay of $52.40 per hour, you'll work closely with a dedicated maintenance group committed to community service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete preventative maintenance and safety inspections

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues

• Perform routine support tasks like oil changes and tire replacements

• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders

• Foster a safe and organized workshop environment

Requirements:

• Valid Red Seal certification as a mechanic

• BC Class 5 Driver's Licence with Air Brake Endorsement

• Experience with diagnostic tools and maintenance software

• Proven troubleshooting capabilities in vehicle systems

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends
