Jardeg is currently recruiting experienced Labourers who have experience working with concrete to join the Infrastructure team!

This position is located on a long‑term project in Agassiz, BC and does not have camp accommodations or living out allowance.

This is a 5 and 2 schedule with the possibility of working afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities
  • Cut, drill, grind, and chip concrete using tools like power saws, drills, and jackhammers
  • Chip, scrape, and grind high spots, ridges, and rough projections to finish concrete using tools like pneumatic chisels, power grinders, or hand tools
  • May operate other power tools like the vibrator to compact concrete and assist with concrete pours
  • Assist with concrete formwork, stripping formwork, and chipping
  • Dewatering
  • Operate the telehandler and/or mobile elevated work platforms
  • General site cleanup, housekeeping, and site organization
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas; remove debris and hazards; support end‑of‑shift cleanup
  • Assist with other duties as required by the site to ensure the project advances smoothly and safely
Requirements
  • CSTS/ WHMIS Certificates
  • Experience using power tools is required
  • Experience working with concrete is required
  • Experience operating a Telehandler & Elevated Work Platforms is considered an asset
  • Able to lift 50 lbs regularly
  • Ability to bend, stretch, lift, push, pull, and carry
  • Capable of learning through on‑the‑job‑training
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Describe and point out safety compliance and regulatory issues; take appropriate actions
  • Reliable transportation
  • Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada
