The Canadian Union of Skilled Workers is recruiting for experienced Substation Electricians. Ideal candidates will possess a Journeyman Electrician Certification and a minimum of five years specializing in high-voltage substation operations. You'll apply your expertise in electrical systems and safety standards for successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and repair substation equipment and control cabinets

• Perform high-voltage terminations and cable splicing

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance

• Diagnose electrical faults and implement corrective measures

• Interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals

Requirements:

• Journeyman Electrician Certification (Red Seal preferred)

• 5+ years in high-voltage substation work

• Strong knowledge of SCADA systems and protective relaying

• Proficiency in high-voltage testing equipment

• Valid Class 5 driver's license required
