Position: Experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic Role
Exciting Heavy Duty Mechanic position available at PNR Rail Works in Abbotsford, B.C. This role focuses on maintaining specialized railway equipment with a competitive salary.

You'll report to the Equipment Manager, performing crucial preventative and corrective maintenance. Essential skills include experience with hydraulic and electrical systems as well as the ability to work outdoors in various conditions. The position offers diverse tasks from inspections to repairs with flexible shifts post-probation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform equipment maintenance and fixes

• Work from schematic drawings and manuals

• Test and inspect machinery outdoors

• Utilize welding for repairs efficiently

• Keep shop tools and equipment organized

Requirements:

• Level 3 Apprentice or Red Seal Mechanic

• Previous experience in field service

• Related railway and heavy-duty asset knowledge

• Bring your own essential tools

• Class 5 driver’s license advantageous
