If you’re between the ages of 17–24 and in a season of figuring out your next steps, whether it’s saving for school or exploring a hands‑on career in the trades, this could be the perfect fit.

Sutherland Landscaping is offering a limited number of full‑time apprentice spots as part of our GROW Program—a 12‑month paid work‑and‑learn experience designed specifically for young adults like you.

You’ll earn a steady paycheck while building real‑life skills in landscaping and beyond. We combine outdoor, physical work with life and leadership development so you can thrive at work, and in whatever comes next.

What is the GROW Program?

GROW is a 1-year, minimum commitment designed for recent high school grads and young adults (18–24) who want to:

• Learn a trade
• Work outside
• Build confidence
• Get support figuring out their future

You’ll receive mentorship, hands‑on landscape training (pruning, lawncare, hardscaping, etc.), and guidance in personal growth areas like leadership, money management, conflict resolution, and understanding your personality strengths.

• Lawn care, pruning, edging, leaf cleanup, mulch installation, planting, and more
• Working as part of a team to keep commercial properties looking their best
• Using landscaping tools and equipment (we’ll train you!)
• Staying organized and keeping worksites tidy
• Serving your community by creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces!

• No landscaping experience? No problem—we train the right people
• A good attitude, reliability, and willingness to work outdoors
• Physical ability to handle hands‑on tasks in all kinds of weather
• Ability to get to and from work
• A valid driver’s licence is a bonus, but not required

• A steady full‑time job with consistent hours (and OT during peak season)
