Tower Crane Technician
Abbotsford, BC
Up to $62.48/hour
We are actively searching for an experienced Tower Crane Technician to join a reputable client of ours located in the Fraser Valley. The successful candidate will be completing a mix of field service and shop work with a focus on troubleshooting, maintaining, repairing, inspecting, and assisting with the setup and commissioning of cranes and other equipment in and around the lower mainland.
There is also some travel involved throughout BC, including Whistler, the Okanagan, Vancouver Island and other surrounding regions.
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on tower cranes
- Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and control system issues
- Assist with crane mobilization, demobilization, erection, testing, and commissioning
- Respond to field service calls and urgent equipment breakdowns
- Complete mechanical repairs, adjustments, and component replacements
- Complete service reports and maintenance documentation accurately
- Build strong relationships with customers through professional service and communication
Monday to Friday
8am to 4:30pm
Overtime and occasional weekend work as required
Perks & Compensation- $57.10-$62.48 per hour
- Pension contribution of approximately $6.25 per hour worked
- Paid travel time
- Company vehicle provided with fuel expenses covered
Overtime opportunities available - Per diem for overnight travel (approximately $75/day) with hotel accommodations covered

- Red Seal Electrician, Millwright, or Heavy Duty Mechanic
- 3+ years of direct Tower Crane experience
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting abilities
- Experience performing field service, maintenance, and repair work
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout British Columbia
- Criminal Record Check
