Position Overview
As a part of the AIA National Office staff team, the Executive Assistant to the National Director is a relational, detail-oriented, solution-minded, and team-oriented individual who will work closely with the National Director of AIA as well as the Executive Leadership Team. This person will function in multiple administrative capacities, including calendar and email management, reconciliation of expenses and travel arrangements, as well as some donor interfacing duties.
The EA ensures that the AIA National Director and Executive Leadership Team functions at full leadership capacity, helping to move the AIA mission forward of helping people know Jesus and experiencing his power to change the world through sport.
Responsibilities:
Support the AIA National Director and Executive Leadership TeamTracking and reporting of expenses in accordance with P2C policies and best practicesTracking and updating donor records in P2C database (Salesforce)Calendar and email management and prioritizationProvide support and preparation assistance for key events, meetings, and speaking engagementsBeing the point of contact for Power to Change for the Executive Leadership TeamProvide regular and special communication with AIA staffProvide tech support as neededHelp strengthen relationships with donors, staff, and stakeholders:
Support and augment donor invitation strategy for national-scope eventsEngage with AIA donors and alumni in a friendly and professional mannerEnsure donor tracking and follow-up is done in a timely and effective mannerHelping the AIA National Director coordinate prioritiesModel the AIA culture to donors, staff, and other stakeholdersHelp steward donors including thanking them for donationsProjects and events are done with excellence and solutions are brought to problems that ariseSupport the Operations Team in planning and executing events of national scopeSupport and execution of special projects or assignments as requiredLiaise with other P2C ministries and stakeholders to help make events successfulJuggle last-minute changes and re-prioritize on the flyEducation & Experience:
You have a bachelor’s degree or equivalentYou have administrative experience in an autonomous role preferredYou have experience with Google Suite (this is an asset)You have experience with Salesforce (this is an asset)About you:
