Working Student In Trade Management
As a working student in trade management, you'll play a vital role in shaping our pricing guidelines and strategies. Your analytical skills will be put to good use as you monitor performance indicators and collaborate with the team to maximize profits. Additionally, you'll be involved in maintaining revenue catalogues and distributing structural allocations, ensuring our operations run smoothly.
Responsibilities- Develop pricing guidelines, considering contribution margins and ship system utilization
- Analyze and monitor performance indicators to optimize profits
- Collaborate on potential improvements for product optimization, including cost and competition assessments
- Maintain revenue catalogues and ensure accurate data
- Cooperate with stakeholders to distribute and steer structural allocations
- Assist in market observation and provide insights for strategic decisions
- Support the team in daily operations and ad-hoc projects
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies
- Enrolled in a maritime-related or relevant degree program (e.g., business administration, logistics, transport management) with availability of approximately 12 months
- Practical experience in the shipping, logistics or freight forwarding industry is an advantage
- Independent, structured and reliable work ethic
- Hands-on approach and a sense of urgency in task execution
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Power Point
- Excellent communication skills in German and English (spoken and written)
- Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making and attention to detail
