Construction Management Role at Eppendorf Group

In the central construction management of the Eppendorf Group, you will shape ambitious construction projects at our national and international locations, thereby creating modern, efficient working and research environments.

You will be responsible for new construction, remodeling, revitalization, refurbishment, and renovation projects across all trades and will manage them throughout the entire project lifecycle at various Eppendorf Group locations.

In scenario and feasibility studies, you will evaluate construction options, analyze opportunities and risks, and prepare solid decision-making bases for management.

For the initiation, planning, execution, and commissioning of construction measures, you will develop and maintain processes, tools, and frameworks that create uniform standards and transparency in the project portfolio.

Together with internal user areas, you will develop requirement specifications and business cases, create decision templates, and accompany projects from the early idea to approval.

When building the project organization, you will define roles, communication and meeting structures, as well as essential control processes and prepare decisions that you will then implement with the relevant stakeholders.

As the client's representative, you will manage all parties involved in planning and construction, select suitable planning offices and service providers, negotiate contracts, and take the lead in the planning and execution phase.

From the tendering and awarding to the execution and commissioning, you will ensure the adherence to cost, time, and quality targets and provide structured project documentation including warranty periods and maintenance plans.

You have a completed degree in architecture or civil engineering with a construction focus, construction project management, or a comparable field that provides a solid foundation for complex construction projects.

You apply thorough knowledge of AHO, HOAI, and VOB in daily practice and make reliable professional decisions based on this.

Ideally, you have completed further education in project management and have strong skills in the professional management of construction projects from planning to completion.

At least five years of relevant experience in construction or construction management, preferably with responsibility for larger or location-spanning projects, characterize your career.

You are proficient with MS Office and common CAD applications; experience with SAP or similar ERP systems helps you plan, manage, and report projects transparently.

In collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners, you communicate clearly and structured, making decisions in a comprehensible and solution-oriented manner.
