Summary: As the Lead Logistics Manager you will serve as the primary architect and Agile implementation lead of an expeditionary military systems’ Integrated Product Support (IPS) strategy. You will lead a high‑performing team of logisticians to ensure that our tactically deployed systems are suitable, survivable, maintainable and ready for Day 1 support of operations in the hands of deployed warfighters. Functioning as a strategic‑thinking logistics subject‑matter expert, you will be responsible to shape and lead the implementation of integrated logistics support capabilities of an emerging ACAT I level Program of Record system, to meet fast‑paced Agile‑driven system capability objectives and challenging development, testing and fielding schedules.

In this program, logistics is not an afterthought—it is a key enabler of lethality and survivability. Your work ensures that the systems Operational Availability (Ao) is maximized, the supply chain is not just supporting but accelerating system production and modernization, the end‑users and field support technicians are optimally trained on the system, and the user experience is optimized for total system performance while minimizing total ownership overhead.

In this role, you are a key enabler to evolve a complex prototype system into an expeditionary mission‑ready military capability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Focused Leadership:
Provide mission-focused leadership across a logistics team, synchronizing efforts with customers, engineering and project management teams, and leading technical writing, provisioning, and maintenance engineering efforts to inform and meet Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) milestones.
  • Product Support Development:
Lead the creation and validation of the systems Integrated Prototype Product Support (IPS) package, including the Provisioning Parts List (PPL) and Engineering Data for Provisioning (EDFP).
  • User Manual Development:
Oversee the development of Validated Manuscript Technical Manuals (Operator and Maintainer), ensuring they are technically accurate and validated through Soldier Touchpoints.
  • Sustainment Analysis:
Lead critical trade studies, including Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) and Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), to define the program’s long-term maintenance posture.
  • Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM):
Implement and manage a robust SCRM program to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities in the COTS/NDI supply chain, ensuring hardware integrity and availability.
  • Government Liaison:
Act as the primary logistics point of contact to Government customer logistics counterparts, ensuring alignment with requirements, acquisition goals, and Army sustainment regulations and standards.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelors degree in a relevant field is preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in Department of Defense (DoD) Acquisition programs (Middle‑Tier Acquisition/MTA experience preferred).

Skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in a fast‑paced, high‑stakes environment where hardware and software evolve simultaneously.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for communicating with customers, end users and technical/engineering staff, as well as briefing senior leadership at program reviews and other engagements.
  • Strong understanding of expeditionary military mechanical and electronic system support and maintenance challenges and strategies, to include predictive maintenance, sparing and 2‑tier maintenance models.
  • Proficiency with GEIA‑STD‑0007 (Logistics Product Data) and Army regulations pertaining to lifecycle management.
  • Experience in establishing and managing supply chain operations, including defining and mitigating risks such as vendor vetting and lifecycle obsolescence planning.
