Your Role

As a Senior Geologist (m/f/d) you are a central member of our German Geoscience team. You integrate and interpret subsurface data to build a sound understanding of our German asset portfolio.

Your work supports both development and exploration activities, helping to unlock growth potentials and identify additional opportunities in existing fields. You work in a dynamic, collaborative environment where decisions are made quickly and your technical expertise directly influences future development.

Your Tasks

• Conducting high-quality geological subsurface analyses by integrating and evaluating data (e.g., well logs, core samples, seismic, production data)
• Identifying workover, drilling, and redevelopment measures
• Building a comprehensive understanding of German production and exploration licenses and supporting their development and long-term planning
• Prioritizing and evaluating development opportunities in the portfolio, considering uncertainties and risks
• Developing drilling projects (including documentation, accompanying implementation, result analysis, and follow-up)
• Participating in technical reviews and business development activities
• Supporting the evaluation of reserves and resources

Your Profile

• Completed degree in geosciences
• More than 10 years of relevant industry experience with strong technical expertise
• Experience in field development and production geology, particularly in mature fields
• Proven experience in developing exploration or drilling projects
• Very good knowledge of common industry software (e.g., Kingdom, REP, Petrel)
• Very good English and good German language skills are required
• International experience and knowledge of German basins are advantageous
• Team-oriented working style, strong communication skills, and initiative
