Your Mission: Catalyst For Scaling From Pilot To Plant

As a Project Engineer in Process Engineering & Plant Construction, you will play a key role in scaling our technology from a small pilot plant to a demonstration plant. Your expertise in plant construction and process development will drive the development of innovative solutions that will position traceless as the undisputed leader in compostable biomaterials.

Your Contribution:

• Technological Scaling: You will play a key role in scaling our technology from pilot to industrial scale.
• Risk Analysis: You will support HAZOP studies and evaluate safety measures, particularly explosion protection. SIL and TRGS are not foreign concepts to you. You are aware of the responsibility of your actions in plant construction.
• Technical Experiments: You will design, plan, and lead experiments independently to evaluate and select suitable machines and apparatus. You will establish target sizes and parameters to be evaluated before the start of experiments. You will support the operations group during experiments in our pilot plant.
• Documentation and Planning: You will create process flow diagrams, R&I flow diagrams, and detailed layout plans.
• Cost Management: You will take over the estimation and control of investment costs for the production plant.
• Implementation: You will help set up the production plant and conduct training for the production staff.
• Project Management: You will plan and implement the construction of our first industrial production facility together with us and act as a proactive interface between the client and the contractors.

• Education: You have a completed degree in (Bio-)Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field that provides you with a solid foundation in the principles of process engineering. Or you have a technician or engineer’s qualification with experience in construction and project management.
• Technical Authority: You have a solid understanding of wet chemical and/or biomass processing production processes and at least 7 years of experience in plant construction. Through your clear communication regarding your knowledge and your knowledge limits, your specific role can be formulated together.
• Enthusiasm For Plant Construction: You bring a deep understanding of plant construction projects and can thus align yourself with the project to recognize the needs for goal fulfillment and address them in coordination with the engineering group. Due to our narrow staff structure, we rely on the broad plant construction understanding of each one.
• Project Management: You have the experience to lead projects with initiative and innovation. You enjoy overcoming complex challenges and bringing projects to a successful conclusion.
• Plant Design: You have the ability to implement your ideas for a production plant in flow diagrams as well as in 3D and 2D layout plans (with support from CAD experts or also in part on your own)—you speak fluent R&I and in Navisworks you move like in your living room.
