Position: Blend Technician (m/w/d) – Motorsport & Advanced Fuels

Job Opportunity in Hamburg, Germany

Are you interested in innovative fuels and want to work in a technically challenging environment? Then become part of our team and work on the production of high-performance fuels for motor sport, research and development, and special applications. In this role, you will combine plant operation, laboratory work, and project support and actively contribute to the development and supply of our internal and external customers.

Your tasks

  • Production & Plant Operation
  • Production of fuels for motor sport, R&D, and special applications
  • Independent execution of mixing, filling, and refilling processes
  • Operation, monitoring, and control of mixing and filling equipment
  • Handling of raw material deliveries (e.g., tank trucks)
  • Cooperation with test benches and internal teams

Laboratory & Quality

  • Conducting laboratory analyses according to standard methods
  • Evaluation and interpretation of results
  • Calibration, maintenance, and care of laboratory equipment
  • Ensuring high quality standards (e.g., ISO, IATF)

Safety & Compliance

  • Compliance with and development of safety and HSSE standards
  • Monitoring of process parameters such as pressure, temperature, and flow
  • Safe handling of hazardous materials according to ADR
  • Contribution to the continuous improvement of processes

Collaboration & Projects

  • Close cooperation with project managers from planning to implementation
  • Support of optimization and improvement projects
  • Cooperation with other teams (e.g., Fuels & Lubes)
  • Supervision of trainees and external employees

What you bring

  • Completed training, e.g., as a chemical operator (m/f/d) or equivalent
  • Several years of experience in plant operation/process industry (preferably 5+ years)
  • Experience with fuels
  • Knowledge of laboratory technology and analytics
  • Experience with process control systems
  • Forklift license and experience in handling hazardous materials (ADR)
  • High safety and quality awareness
  • Independent and responsible working style
  • Teamwork and strong communication skills
  • Flexibility with changing requirements and priorities
  • Solution-oriented thinking and willingness to help
  • Good German and English skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, experience with LIMS systems is an advantage
