We are looking for a KMI Tactical Design SME to support a proposal with the Army in Maryland at the Aberdeen Proving Ground military base. Position will require on site work and a TS/SCI active security clearance.
The SME will help support research, development, proof of concept, extensive test & evaluation, integration, validation, mission assurance, resilience & software assurance, prototyping, demonstration of cryptographic technologies, COMSEC, transmission security, tactical network protection, key management, cybersecurity, risk assessment, and certification and accreditation to ensure all systems meet stringent DoD, NSA and industry standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Manage Information Assurance cryptographic devices and provide overarching support for COMSEC programs.
- Design and integrate complex tactical networks, including IP-based networks, SATCOM, and terrestrial transmission systems.
- Oversee information assurance, enterprise network operations, enterprise domain operations, and enterprise cyber defense.
- Apply expert-level knowledge of Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) and tactical tools such as iApp, ACES, SKL, TKL, and NGLD.
- Lead the integration of voice and tactical radio networks into broader enterprise network architectures.
- Serve as the technical lead for firewall administration and Information Assurance System Engineering.
- Develop plans to divest outdated encryption technologies.
- Active Top-Secret/SCI clearance.
- Ability to work on site 5 days/week.
- Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in COMSEC and tactical network design.
- Expert knowledge of KMI and tactical hardware (SKL, TKL, NGLD).
- Strong foundation in Information Assurance principles and firewall administration.
