Job Description
Gridiron is looking to hire a Technical Writer local to Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD.
In the role of Technical Writer, you will leverage your expertise to:
Develop and maintain user manuals, installation guides, SOPs, and policy documentation for complex technical systems.
Translate highly complex technical concepts into clear, accessible language for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Research and develop technical reports, test plans, and all other unclassified and classified technical products.
Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and COMSEC teams to gather information and clarify documentation for customer-facing outputs.
Ensure all technical products meet the standards for R&D reporting and military documentation.
Requirements:

Experience:

Minimum of five (5) years of comprehensive technical writing experience.
Expertise:
Proven ability to manage all aspects of research and development reporting and test plan documentation.
Communication:
Expert proficiency in translating complex engineering data into clear, actionable outputs.
TS/SCI clearance Clearance
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range: $85,000 - $107,000 (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.) Benefits:
