Cybersecurity Engineer; Contingent Security Clearance

Job Description

• Support secure system architecture and RMF compliance for wearable and sensor-based systems
• Focus on cybersecurity strategy, risk assessment, and accreditation activities
• Support RMF processes (IATT, ATO, SSP, POA&M, etc.)
• Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments and vulnerability analysis
• Develop cybersecurity documentation and strategies
• Support secure system architecture and data protection
• Other duties as assigned
• This position is contingent upon contract award

• Education:
  
  Bachelor's Degree in a relevant engineering or science discipline
• Security certifications (e.g., Security+, CISSP) preferred
• 2+ years of professional experience in the required task area
• Experience with RMF and DoD Cybersecurity processes
• Knowledge of NIST frameworks and IA principles
• Experience supporting ATO/IATT efforts
• Experience with embedded or sensor-based systems preferred

• Must be a US citizen
• Active Top Secret clearance required

• Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
• Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
• Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g., eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel-toed shoes, etc.)
• Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time

Salary: $120,000 - $145,000. Salary rates for this position are competitive and commensurate with experience and industry standards. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that may include health insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings options.
