Credence has an immediate need for a Acquisition Manager to support the Army Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PM PNT) System Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) Program at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD.
ResponsibilitiesThe Acquisition Manager for PM Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PNT) for PdL Navigation Warfare (NAVWAR) directs the comprehensive lifecycle development, fielding, and sustainment of advanced offensive and defensive PNT and multi-domain sensor platforms. Operating under the Department of War’s modernization priorities, the incumbent ensures critical cyber, electronic warfare (EW), and intelligence architectures are rapidly acquired and dynamically updated to counter near-peer threats.
- Strategically aligned and govern EW and ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) programs utilizing the Defense Acquisition System framework, ensuring compliance with DoDI 5000.01 and DoDI 5000.02 to rapidly deliver interoperable, lethal, and survivable capabilities to the tactical edge.
- Apply customized processes in DoDI 5000.02 to select and execute the optimal acquisition pathway, frequently utilizing the Software Acquisition Pathway (SWP) in accordance with DoDI 5000.87.
- Ensure all program activities, including C5
ISR integration and intelligence architecture alignment, are fully synchronized with Assistant Secretary of the Army (Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology) (ASA(ALT)) mandates as codified in AR 70-1.
- Active Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance required; mandatory for Intelligence and Electronic Warfare (EW) operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Business, or a related discipline; highly preferred for C5
ISR technical management. - Back-to-Basics Program Management Certification at the Advanced or Practitioner level preferred, in alignment with AR 70-1 and DACM policy.
- Deep understanding of AI/ML software pipelines, RF (Radio Frequency) engineering concepts, and software-defined architectures in support of DoDI 5000.87 and spectrum warfare modernization.
- Comprehensive understanding of DoD 5000-series directives tailored to rapid prototyping and software agility, including DoDI 5000.01, DoDI 5000.02, and AR 70-1.
