Power Platform Developer​/Data Visualization Developer; Power BI Security Clearance

Position: Power Platform Developer/Data Visualization Developer (Power BI) with Security Clearance
All hired employees are expected to have experience with Microsoft Copilot and / or an approved equivalent AI solution.

Description:

Data Systems Analysts, Inc. is searching for a Power Platform Developer specializing in Power BI and data visualizations in our Enterprise Services Group Business Unit. This position requires a DOD Secret Clearance.

The right candidate will serve as a Power Platform/Power BI Developer to a dedicated customer organization. This role provides Power Platform Developer and Power BI/data visualization support to a dynamic organization supporting the Army. The government customer team works in partnership with the DSA team and subcontractors to provide a cohesive support model to a varied customer base. Team members are respected and recognized for their role on the team.

There is potential for professional development and career growth for motivated candidates. The DSA Power Platform developer will develop low code no code solutions using Power Platform tools within the Army 365 tenant.

Required Qualifications:

* Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
* Highly proficient in Power Platform solution development (1-5 years of experience in Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI with intermediate DAX knowledge ideal)
* Advanced SharePoint Online (SPO) experience and understanding of its role in the Microsoft Office 365 (experience in the Army 365 tenant ideal) ecosystem
* Highly proficient in developing and managing Power BI solutions
* Highly proficient in developing and delivering data solutions
* Proven proficiency in data visualization design
* Solid understanding of data model development
* Experience taking part in and leading user acceptance testing (UAT) activities
* Solid understanding of requirements gathering process
* Proficient in documenting technical solutions developed and creating associated reference materials
* Customer engagement experience with the ability to develop relationships and understand needs
* Foundational knowledge in Power Pages, Dataverse, and Premium Capacities
* Understanding of UX/UI principles
* Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
* Ability to complete tasks with little to no supervision
* COMPTIA Security + certification (Certification preferred upon hire but must be acquired within 90 days for otherwise well qualified candidate)
* Computing Environment (CE) relative to the position (EX: Microsoft Power Platform 200, 300, 400, 600 or position specific certifications can be considered) - Certification preferred upon hire but can be acquired within 90 days for otherwise well qualified candidate
* Experience using Vantage Analytics, Vantage Insights, or similar enterprise data visualization and reporting platforms
* Experience integrating Vantage data sources with Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions Desired

Qualifications:

* Experience working on an Agile Scrum team
* Working knowledge of Power Platform environments and pipelines
* Proficient with Model-Driven app development and Dataverse
* Understanding of Power BI Premium Work spaces
* Experience developing and delivering user training and reference materials #DSA
