Project Overview
The Lockwood Group supports a C5
ISR hardware and software program for a U.S. Army customer located at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), MD. This effort provides product technical support services for systems and equipment produced, fielded, modified, or sustained under PdM Network Modernization (Net Mod) and PdM Mission Network within the Project Manager Tactical Network (PM TN), Program Executive Office C3T (PEO C3T).
The program ensures tactical network systems remain secure, scalable, and Fully Mission Capable (FMC) in support of Army modernization and operational readiness objectives.
Position OverviewThe Test Engineer will develop and implement test strategies for complex tactical systems.
Salary: 125-130k
Required Qualifications- Bachelor of Science degree
- 7+ years of progressive experience in test and evaluation (T&E) within a DoD or defense contracting environment
- Experience supporting programs at Aberdeen Proving Ground
- Demonstrated experience planning and leading system-of-systems (SoS) test events across the full acquisition lifecycle (MTA, ACAT I, COTS fielding)
- Proficiency with cyber and electronic warfare test methodologies, including Adversarial Assessments (AA), CVPAs, CVIs, and Lab-Based Risk Reductions (LBRR)
- Familiarity with DoD test documentation: TEMPs, TRRs, STPs, STDs, STRs, SEPs, and OERs
- Experience with satellite communications systems, tactical radios (SINCGARS, MUOS, TSM), or C2 infrastructure
- Working knowledge of software testing practices including PQT, FQT, regression testing, and anomaly reporting
