As a Cloud Platform Architect (w/m/x) for Microsoft Azure in the Business Unit for Cloud Hyperscaler & Sovereignty, you will shape future-proof cloud platforms together with our experts, develop scalable and secure Azure architectures, and thus create the technological basis for the digital transformation of our customers.

Your mission

• Become part of the team for the conception and implementation of cloud landing zones, container platforms, and cloud native tools, so that our customers can focus on the development of innovative digital solutions and drive the modernization of their existing application landscape.
• You conduct strategic consulting for the introduction of cloud technologies, especially Microsoft Azure, under customer-specific requirements
• You design sophisticated cloud solutions and architectures with a focus on reliability, security, performance, and cost (taking into account current Azure services)
• You are responsible for the technical leadership of international cloud engineering teams in the context of customer projects
• You support in pre-sales as well as in sales activities in the cloud area. You conduct feasibility studies and innovation projects and drive the further development of our service portfolio
• You work closely with other national and international NTT DATA teams

Your skillset

• You have extensive knowledge of the Microsoft Azure cloud ecosystem, which you have proven in "hands-on" projects
• You have several years of experience in the productive use of container platforms and serverless technologies (e.g. Kubernetes, Azure AKS, Knative or Azure Functions)
• You have comprehensive knowledge of the introduction of cloud native tools for continuous integration & delivery, observability and security (e.g. Git Lab, Jenkins, Prometheus, Grafana or Trivy)
• Ideally, you have a cloud certification (e.g. Azure Solutions Architect Expert)
• You have experience in technical leadership, mentoring and coaching of teams
• Through your practical experience and your high methodological competence in the development of IT architectures, you present experiences and recommendations professionally to decision-makers and larger audiences
• You have knowledge of current technology trends and an understanding of upcoming developments in the cloud area
• You have a degree in computer science, business informatics or a comparable qualification and a pronounced sense of belonging and an ability to learn and network
