Building Maintenance Technician II
Location: Distribution Center Address: 504 Advantage Ave, Aberdeen, MD 21001

As a maintenance mechanic with Gordon Food Service, you’ll have the opportunity to be hands-on with building schematics/blueprints, hydraulics, electrical troubleshooting, and maintaining Crown Equipment. We have high standards for safety, stability, and training to ensure our people are safe and that our business is always running at top performance.

:
Sunday - Thursday 6:00PM-2:30AM
Starting Hourly Rate $28.11 with an increase to $28.67 at 6 months. The hourly max rate is $33.73. (All employees start out at the minimum rate)
ResponsibilitiesThe position involves hands-on maintenance work including reading/building schematics and blueprints, hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting, and maintaining Crown Equipment. Maintain a safe work environment and support the team to ensure the facility runs smoothly and safely.

- You must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Powered Industrial Vehicle certification required
- 3-5 years of experience maintaining and repairing PIV or warehouse related equipment and facilities
- Must have experience working on Crown Equipment (Pallet Jacks, Reach Trucks, and Center Riders)
- Willingness to work in high places, freezing cold spaces, inside/outside, and anywhere within the building where you are needed
- Successful passing of drug screen and background check
- Able to lift/move up to 100 lbs during your shift
