Job Description:As a Deputy Program Manager at Parsons, you will join a fast-paced team supporting mission-critical requirements for the Department of War and United States Army. Become part of a diverse group of 500 professionals delivering expertise in program management, systems integration, and technical leadership across Aberdeen Proving Ground and Edgewood, Maryland, for a portfolio of efforts spanning 5 years and a total value exceeding $600 million.
The ideal candidate is a proven leader with extensive program management experience, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to advancing Army modernization and support to the warfighter.
Support the Program Manager in the overall planning, execution, and management of complex, multi-year programs and projects.
Oversee day-to-day program operations, ensuring alignment with project goals, schedules, and budgets.
Coordinate cross-functional teams and resources to achieve programobjectivesand deliverables.
Ensure compliance with all contractual, regulatory, and security requirements.
Develop andmaintainprogram documentation, reports, and briefings for senior leadership and stakeholders.
Identify and mitigate program risks, and implement process improvements to enhance program performance.
Foster strong relationships with internal and external partners, including government customers and subcontractors.
Serve as acting Program Manager in their absence.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, business, management, or related discipline).
10+ years of professional experience in program or project management.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required
Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills in managing large, complex programs.
Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Experience working with government contracts and DoD programs preferred.
Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment.
An active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position.
