Materials Planning/Procurement Manager / Supply Chain Manager –

A dynamic global leader in detection and screening technologies is expanding and seeking a Materials Planning/Procurement Manager to lead procurement execution and materials planning strategy. This role is pivotal in ensuring supply continuity for production while optimizing inventory and driving cost savings in a fast-paced, high-value manufacturing environment.

• Lead and develop a team focused on MRP execution, tactical procurement, and inventory management
• Influence cross-functional operations and support strategic sourcing initiatives
• Work in a high-impact, high-value, low-volume environment with diverse SKUs

• Lead a team of procurement professionals managing MRP execution and order fulfillment
• Ensure timely purchase order execution, supplier communications, and delivery tracking
• Maintain accurate ERP/MRP planning parameters and master data (SAP preferred)
• Align procurement activities with production schedules and project timelines
• Drive supplier performance improvement and resolve delivery/quality issues
• Implement inventory optimization strategies and continuous process improvements
• Support compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements

• Be able to do the job as described.
• Experience in high-value, low-volume manufacturing with many SKUs
• Strong SAP/MRP system expertise and advanced Excel skills
• Ability to pass security vetting (US Citizen preferred)
• Strong leadership with proven ability to motivate and influence across teams
