If you're ready for your next career challenge, the Defense Sector at Leidos is seeking a Logistics Management Specialist/Site Lead to support the Warfighter Readiness Program at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.
ResponsibilitiesThe Logistics Management Specialist will play a critical role in planning, coordinating, and executing Integrated Product Support (IPS) for CPMod systems, including new and emerging technologies. This position requires comprehensive cradle-to-grave logistics oversight for a major weapon system—from concept development through fielding and sustainment.
Key responsibilities include:
Integrated Product Support & Lifecycle Management- Develop, execute, and evaluate logistics management operations supporting CPMod systems.
- Maintain sustainment considerations throughout the entire system lifecycle.
- Coordinate with logistics element managers, contract support services, training facilities, and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) organizations.
- Interface with service users and contractor facilities to ensure seamless support.
- Develop, modify, and prepare logistics documentation and processes across the program lifecycle.
- Produce and support logistics documentation such as:
- Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSPs)
- DEMIL and Disposal Plans
- Item Unique Identification (IUID) Plans
- Materiel Fielding Plans (MFPs)
- Core Depot Assessments (CDAs)
- Analysis of Product Support Alternatives (APSAs)
- DMSMS Plans
- Material Release (MR) packages
- Basis of Issue Plan Feeder Data (BOIPFD)
- Support planning and execution of Maintenance Demonstrations, Technical Manual (TM) validations, and Training Support Package (TSP) Validation/Verification events.
- Conduct In-Progress Reviews (IPRs) with key stakeholders.
- Develop execution schedules, manage critical path events, and identify risk areas.
- Review task analysis lists and develop fault lists based on training plans, TMs, and Technical Bulletins.
- Create and synchronize Logistics Demonstration plans.
- Coordinate personnel support from soldiers, proponents, training developers, and SMEs.
- Manage hardware shipment and ensure timely incorporation of TSP redlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics Management, Business Administration, or related field and 2 years of military logistics experience;
OR 6 years of directly related experience in military logistics/Gov't contracting logistics in lieu of degree requirements. - Experience with U.S. Army logistics documentation and processes.
- Active DoD Secret security clearance.
- Prior logistics management experience.
- Ability to explain, justify, and defend regulatory requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to provide direction and solutions.
- Ability to travel 10% of the time.
- Fielding or logistics management experience supporting Army programs.

Pay Range $52,000.00 - $94,000.00
