Production Support Technician-Seasonal - 2nd shift

We're seeking inclusive and committed seasonal production support technicians to join Frito-Lay, where you will be responsible for supporting the packaging and processing departments to manufacture the products you already know and love. Although you will start with Frito-Lay, this job can open the door to career opportunities with our parent company, Pepsi Co.

We are open 24 hours a day. As a seasonal Production Support Technician, you will work 32-40 hours per week.

As a part-time team member, you are eligible to receive company benefits. Here is a breakdown of what we offer:

• Vacation time, including two weeks after one year of continuous, full-time employment and eligibility for up to one week during the first year

It is a physical job! While all are welcome to apply, understand that you will be on your feet the entirety of your shift. We're seeking individuals who are flexible, committed, and safety-focused.

Here are some of the tasks that you could expect to perform during the workday:

• Working in "boxdrop," loading cardboard boxes during hot / cold climates upstairs on mezz.
• Loading & Sorting cardboard boxes into automation in boxdrop area. (~1500 boxes per shift)
• Troubleshoot and resolve machine-related issues before escalating to Maintenance.
• Working in "tote station," filling cardboard totes with saleable product.
• Filling totes more than 400+ lbs and manually moving them with a pallet jack. (60+ per shift)
• Perform quality checks & paperwork on toted product between filling them on the floor.
• Setup, clean, and maintain equipment & perform housekeeping tasks for startups and shutdowns.
• Package product in boxes when needed. (10% of time in role)
