We are looking for clamp operators (sit down forklift) in Aberdeen, MD!
Job Summary:
Under the responsibility of the logistics supervisor, the material handler performs warehouse functions, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
Responsibilities:
- Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting 35%
- Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract 25%
- Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks 20%
- Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.) 10%
- Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production 10%
Additional Responsibilities:
- Candidate must have basic level knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice requirements, if applicable to site
- Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
- Performs other duties as assigned
Front Half
Schedule:
Sunday
- Monday 4am - 5pm;
Tuesday
- Wednesday 5am - 3:30pm
** Shift differential $3/hr on Sundays only
- Regular shift pay is $19/hr all other days
Back Half
Schedule:
Wednesday
- Friday 5am - 3:30pm;
Saturday 4am - 5pm
** Shift differential $3/hr on Saturdays only - Regular shift pay is $19/hr all other days
--Must be comfortable with driving backwards
--Must pass in-person clamp testing initially to be considered for the role.
--Must have 1 year of sit down forklift experience. (only stand up exp will NOT be considered)
