Your tasks:

• Support the top management of our clients in the sustainable transformation and optimization of production systems along the entire value chain
• Conducting challenging consulting projects in the automotive industry with a focus on shopfloor excellence, operational performance and efficiency improvement
• Conception and realization of factory structures (greenfield/brownfield) including layout, material flow and production concepts
• End-to-end control of industrialization projects – from planning to stable series start
• Identification and implementation of effective factory cost reduction programs as well as the establishment of sustainable, lean processes
• Analysis, design and optimization of production processes in the shopfloor (e.g. cycle time, line balance, throughput times, OEE)
• Development of pragmatic and implementable solutions in close cooperation with the operational areas of our clients
• Active contribution to the further development of our competencies in the areas of lean production, production strategy and factory planning

• Successfully completed university degree, ideally in (business) engineering or comparable
• Relevant professional experience in management consulting or in the production environment in the industry, ideally with operational responsibility or first leadership experience (e.g. shopfloor, industrial engineering, production management or in direct proximity thereto)
• Sound knowledge in production, industrialization, factory planning or shopfloor optimization
• Pronounced hands-on mentality as well as structured and analytical working method with a view to economic levers
• Proven successes in the implementation of efficiency improvement and cost optimization programs in production environments
• Confident appearance, high team orientation as well as pronounced communication strength in an international environment
• Great interest in current trends in lean management, production and industry 4.0
• Very good German and English language skills as well as high willingness to travel
