Plant-Based Biomaterial Plant Operator

We are solving global plastic pollution - and you will be part of the solution! With our innovative technology, we produce an innovative and environmentally friendly biomaterial from plant-based waste materials of the agricultural industry - biobased, plastic-free, and compostable. A material that leaves no harmful traces. We aim to replace as much plastic as possible, and this is where you come in.

As a plant operator, you will join our team to operate our flagship plant - our first production on an industrial scale. In addition to the usual production tasks (supervision/control of the plant, supervision of product quality, handling of raw materials and products), you will face new challenges every day. You will develop pragmatic solutions to optimize production, actively support production tests, and gain experience for the planning of further plants.

In this position...

• You will monitor and control plant operations and document production parameters
• You will take care of initial maintenance measures and clean the plant
• You will take and analyze routine quality samples
• You will supply raw materials and remove products
• You will share your knowledge about the processing of our material and your ideas for optimizing production with our development and quality teams
• You will work in a four-shift system
• You will support production tests for the planning of further plants

You will spend your working days in an innovative working environment with startup flair in our new Tech Hub in Buchholz i.d.N. as well as Hamburg-Harburg.

• You have a completed technical vocational training (e.g. chemical technician, production specialist in chemistry, plant operator or comparable qualification)
• You have a hands-on mentality and like to find pragmatic solutions to challenges
• You actively contribute your own ideas for plant/production optimization
• You are reliable and independent
• You think innovatively, are open and a team player
• You have good knowledge of German (and ideally English - we will gladly support you here)
