Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to stepdown patients
  • Monitor patient status and promptly address any changes or complications
  • Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and other nurses to coordinate comprehensive care plans
  • Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered, following best practices and facility protocols
  • Educate patients and families on post-hospitalization care and recovery
  • Identify and escalate critical situations appropriately to ensure patient safety
Essential

Qualifications:
  • Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum of 1 year recent stepdown or intermediate care experience
  • BLS/ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
  • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • Experience with electronic medical records systems preferred
  • Flexibility and adaptability in fast-paced settings
