Warehouse Associate - Replenishment and Putaway

Position Overview

Join us as a Replenishment and Putaway Specialist at The Container Store, where you'll be at the forefront of ensuring our inventory is always stocked and organized for seamless operations. With your keen attention to detail and precision, you'll ensure that every item is accurately stored and easily accessible, enabling us to meet the demands of our customers effectively. This role offers full‑time hours with competitive hourly rates.

• Relocate inventory from the Receiving dock to either open‑air reserve locations or active pick locations in a timely and accurate manner.
• Use a pallet jack to perform putaway tasks in multi‑level pick modules.
• Utilize handheld devices to receive replenishment and putaway tasks.
• Navigate aisles, use the lift mechanism to reach high racks, and adhere to safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Consistently meet time‑based productivity standards.
• Work comfortably in multi‑level picking modules and around conveyor systems.
• Maintain a safe work area, adhering to safety policies and procedures.
• Support and work in other departments throughout the Distribution Center.
• Work in a non‑climate‑controlled environment.
• Maintain inventory accuracy throughout the Distribution Center.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience operating a Reach Truck and Order Picker (Cherry Picker).
• Versatility within the department, encompassing various tasks such as utilizing equipment and performing RPA duties by foot.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in utilizing radio communication.
• Experience working in a highly automated distribution environment is a plus. Knowledge of various distribution systems such as warehouse management systems, radio‑frequency devices, and voice picking is preferred.
• Arrive on time and be prepared to begin work at the scheduled shift time, committed to working scheduled hours with flexibility to work additional hours based on changing business needs.

• Stand 100 % of the time and walk approximately 50 % of the time with the ability to lift up to 47 pounds independently.
