Piper Companies is looking for a Site Security Officer to join a government contractor in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. This role requires the candidate to report onsite and have an active Top Secret Clearance

Essential Duties of the Site Security Officer:

• Ensure compliance with DoD, Federal, and Intelligence Community regulations that govern the critical security disciplines of both NISP/NISPOM and SCI classified contract-related security support
• Develop and maintain comprehensive security Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Manage the information systems security program, document control, visit requests and physical security
• Submit clearances to SMO via JPAS/DISS
• Conduct internal inspections of PM Open Storage and Secured Facilities

Qualifications of the Site Security Officer:

• BA/BS from an accredited college or university and 6 years' experience as a Security Specialist, Personnel Security Specialist, and/or Physical Security Specialist within the DOD environment
• Strong working knowledge of National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), DoD personnel and information security regulations
• Must possess expert knowledge of Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS), e-FCL, ISFD, ACAVS, and other security systems
• Must have experience with Program Protection Plans including but not limited to:
  Continuity of Operations Plan and Business Impact Analysis for Mission Essential Functions, OPSEC plan, Policy for conduct of OCONUS travel threat briefings

Compensation for the Site Security Officer:

• $120,000 - $140,000 (based on experience)
• Comprehensive benefit package;
