Join the FSI Team as a Maintenance Mechanic!

Facility Services, Inc. (FSI) is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Mechanic to support our operations. If you're hands-on, detail-oriented, and passionate about keeping facilities running smoothly, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Do

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you’ll tackle a wide range of tasks to ensure our buildings and equipment are in top shape. Your work will span multiple trades, including:

  • Routine Maintenance:
    Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Troubleshooting and repairs:
    Diagnose and repair issues with building systems, including plumbing leaks, electrical failures, and HVAC malfunctions.
  • Installation:
    Install new equipment and systems as needed, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Emergency Response:
    Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations, prioritizing tasks based on urgency.
  • Documentation:
    Maintenance accurate records or maintenance activities, inspections and repairs performed, adhering to compliance and safety regulations.
Required

Skills and Qualifications
  • Technical Knowledge:
    Strong understanding of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Problem-Solving

    Skills:

    Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot various maintenance issues effectively.
  • Physical Stamina:
    Capability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces
  • Communication

    Skills:

    Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and report on maintenance activities.
What You’ll Bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent training
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs., climb ladders, and perform physical tasks
  • Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check and obtain NAC/LAC clearance
  • Strong work ethic and ability to collaborate with staff, officials, and patients
