The Maintenance Technician is critical to the smooth operation of the Fanatics Commerce Fulfillment Center located in Aberdeen, MD, responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on facility assets, material handling systems, and conveyor equipment. This role demands hands‑on expertise across mechanical and electrical disciplines — including PLCs, VFDs, and motor controls — while maintaining strict adherence to safety standards and operational procedures.

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using technical drawings — including blueprints and schematics — and precision diagnostic tools such as multi‑meters and laptops.
• Troubleshoot complex motor control challenges on equipment equipped with PLCs, VFDs, Soft Starts, Servo Drives, and external I/O devices.
• Identify root causes of recurring equipment failures and recommend or implement solutions that drive long‑term reliability improvements.
• Apply continuous improvement thinking to preventive maintenance routines, optimizing schedules and procedures to reduce reactive repair demand.

• Complete all work orders, preventive maintenance tasks, and corrective repairs with accuracy and in compliance with department and company standards.
