How You Will Move Our World

• You coordinate all ship arrivals in German ports and always keep an overview of all processes.
• During the layover, you take care of the crew – this includes arranging doctor's appointments, visa applications, or organizing crew changes and transfers.
• As part of the agency role, you visit the ships and take on tasks such as handing over bunker samples or cash to master.
• You are also responsible for ordering tugs, mooring lines, and pilots.
• You forward the loading lists to the planner and terminal in a timely manner and send dangerous goods, reefer, and OOG lists to all relevant parties.
• You timely and reliably register dangerous goods with the authorities.
• You also maintain all relevant arrival data in the internal system (VCI) to ensure smooth ship billing.

What You Bring To The Table

• You have a completed commercial education – ideally as a shipping merchant, merchant for freight forwarding and logistics services, or a study with a logistics focus – and have already gained initial professional experience.
• With your communication skills and your structured, independent working style, you impress every day.
• You enjoy dealing with various stakeholders and bring the necessary flexibility and a solution-oriented mindset.
• You are ready to work nights, weekends, or public holidays with your team colleagues – and this for the long term.
• Very good German and English skills complete your profile.
