Job Opportunity at Airbus Logistik GmbH

The Airbus Logistik GmbH, established in 2021, manages the logistical supply of aircraft components for the A320 program to Airbus final assembly lines. As an Airbus subsidiary, we receive, store, and dispatch goods for integration into the final lines in Hamburg, Tianjin (China), Mobile (USA), and Toulouse (France).
For these new opportunities and challenges in the world of logistics, Airbus Logistik GmbH is looking for motivated employees in order processing (M/F/D) for our Hamburg location at Am Genter Ufer.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting smooth warehouse operations and common inventory tasks
- Storing goods in containers, on pallets, etc., including receiving from the handover point, scanning the containers, and transporting to the storage location
- Consolidating the picked goods with subsequent packaging and preparation for further transport
- Matching quantity and serial number
- Packing hazardous goods according to ADR 1.3
- Matching and checking in the warehouse management system (WMS)
- Operating several stored electrical systems and devices: e.g., lean lift, carpet paternoster, sliding shelf, and forklifts
The following knowledge and qualifications are required:
- Previous experience in operational contract logistics
- Knowledge of the German language (spoken and written)
- Forklift license level 2; crane license desirable
- Experience in handling forklifts desirable
- Knowledge in material management systems; first experiences with MDT scanners and inventory activities
- Resilience, reliability, and customer orientation
- Willingness to work shifts
- Valid G25 examination
This position is evaluated according to the IG Metall Collective Agreement for Contract Logistics with a pay grade 3.
