Truck Driver CDL Class A - Regional, Drop & Hook

Position Overview

Bob’s Discount Furniture is hiring a CDL Class A Company Driver to operate a tractor with a 53‑ft trailer across designated regions.

• Drive tractor‑truck combinations on local, regional and interstate highways.
• Deliver merchandise from distribution centers to stores and depots.
• Maintain vehicle condition reports and meet all ELD and DOT compliance requirements.
• Stay current on DOT rules, regulations and safety procedures.
• Earn mileage‑based pay ($0.55–$0.69 per mile) and receive bonuses for safety, extra stops and premium 6th‑day pay.

• Valid Class A CDL license.
• Clean driving record with no major accidents or alcohol/drug convictions.
• Minimum 1 year of all‑weather driving experience.
• Strong communication skills, including reading, writing and following detailed instructions.
• Ability to work 90% standing or walking, 5% desk or phone work, and lift/shift up to 2% of the shift.

• Competitive mileage pay ($0.55–$0.69 per mile).
