Logistician II (IEW&S Contract)QBE is seeking a Logistician II to support the IEW&S contract.
ResponsibilitiesCandidate shall perform automated Logistical Specialist tasks primarily related to supervising and performing management or warehouse functions in order to maintain equipment records and parts. Candidate’s typical associated tasks include:
- Establish and maintain stock records and other documents, such as inventory, material control, accounting and supply reports
- Review and verify quantities received against bills of contracts, purchase requests and shipping documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages
- Unload, unpack, count, segregate, palletize and store incoming supplies and equipment in accordance with prescribed storage methods; rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials; examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage; removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment
- Ensure supplies and equipment are stored correctly for each type of product
- Construct bins, shelving and other storage aids
- Simplify and standardize the collection and use of maintenance data
- Raise the quality and accuracy of performance, cost and parts data through improved maintenance management
- Operate the Global Combat Support System-Army, a logistics system used to track supplies, organizational equipment and spare parts.
- Active US Government clearance at Secret level or higher
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum two years' relevant experience required
- Ability to communicate effectively with team and other stakeholders
