SummaryWarehouse Associates will increase operational efficiency, company profitability and customer satisfaction by accurately and safely receiving and storing materials, processing incoming and outgoing shipments, picking and scanning orders for pickup and delivery.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Pulls, files, packs, and sets up orders for delivery or pickup
- Maintains the ability to determine the status of an order at any given time
- Follows any special instructions pertaining to an individual order
- Receives shipments, logs inventory, maintains inventory through audits
- Processes returns accurately
- Maintains proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies as required
- Upholds highest safety standards and complies with all legal and company safety policies
- Identifies safety issues and problems, detects hazardous working conditions and safety problems, checks equipment and/or work area regularly
- Takes corrective action, reports or corrects unsafe working conditions, makes recommendations and/or improves safety and security procedures, enforces safety regulations and procedures
- Understands the need for continued work‑related education and applies skills or knowledge from educational and learning opportunities
- Demonstrates versatility, knows that work is subject to change and can perform all job‑related functions; reacts positively and quickly to change
- Associates his area’s goals and facilitates goal accomplishment, placing a higher priority on organizational goals
- Operates with integrity, models commitment, demonstrates honesty and keeps commitments while adhering to the team’s expectations and guidelines

- Willingness to learn and train
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Must be able to stand on feet up to 8 hrs daily
- Frequent stooping, squatting, stretching, bending and lifting required to reach inventory items
- Forklift: operates a forklift safely and efficiently, maintains certification, performs vehicle safety checks and reports discrepancies to supervisor
- Order Picker
Temperature of work area may be affected by outside temperature.
