The Container Store Distribution Center – Direct to Consumer department is looking for Pickers/Packers to join our e-commerce team! As a Picker/Packer, you will utilize cutting‑edge technology and powered equipment to pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring that every package meets our high standards. Your attention to detail will be essential as you navigate computer‑based programs to streamline order processing and exceed customer expectations.

In this role, you will play a central part in ensuring timely and accurate inventory replenishment to meet customer needs. Your responsibilities include efficiently picking retail merchandise using state‑of‑the‑art voice picking technology and loading items onto store trailers with precision and attention to detail. Detail‑oriented individuals will help us maintain optimal stock levels, ensuring our retail stores operate smoothly.

• Follow standardized work as it relates to picking, packing and cutting procedures.
• Consistently meet time‑based productivity standards.
• Use the voice picking system to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure the correct quantity and quality of items are picked/packed for each order according to established procedures.
• Work comfortably in multi‑level picking modules and around conveyor systems.
• Maintain a safe work area, adhering to safety policies and procedures.
• Support and work in various departments throughout the Distribution Center.
• Work in a non‑climate‑controlled environment.
• Maintain inventory accuracy throughout the Distribution Center.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proficiency in operating walkie rider and stock chaser.
• Experience in a highly automated distribution environment a plus.
• Knowledge of distribution systems such as labor management, radio frequency devices and voice picking preferred.
• Ability to use pneumatic tools and cut metal to precision.
• Strong spatial awareness to ensure accurate and efficient packaging.
• Must stand 100% of the time and walk about 50% of the time; lift up to 47 pounds independently.
• Proficiency in computer skills.
• Work independently, managing picking and packing tasks efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Arrive on time and be prepared to work scheduled hours with flexibility for additional hours as needed.
